Today, LIFE have released their critically acclaimed third album, “North East Coastal Town, via The Liquid Label. Introspective and forward-thinking, the album has seen the band earn plaudits across a vast array of press and radio, where they have received multiple playlists spots.

Current single “The Drug” made the A-list at BBC Radio 6 Music (marking their seventh playlisting at the station) and was preceded by singles “Big Moon Lake“ & “Friends Without Names“ which were also playlisted at 6 Music as well as various European radio stations.

Speaking on the release of the new album, frontman Mez Green says:

“North East Coastal Town is an ode to kinship and relationship with its musical and lyrical spine picking out themes of love, desire, beauty, horror, chaos, pride and most importantly the sense of belonging.

Hull runs through our DNA and has shaped us, weathered us, empowered us, embraced us and made us feel accepted. This album is our love letter to the city.”

The band will also be performing a run of in-store dates starting this week followed by a local celebration of the album release in Hull on Sat 3 September at The Social. Recent summer festival dates have seen the band play the likes of BST Hyde Park supporting Pearl Jam, Long Division Festival, Colours of Ostrava (CZ), and more. The band will soon play Sea Power’s Krankenhaus festival in the Lakes, and Mad Cool Sunset Festival in Madrid. UK & EU album tours will follow in the Autumn – full listings below.
