Death by Unga Bunga are thrilled to announce their new single 'Into The Night', out now on 7-inch vinyl via Jansen. The track just premiered at UPROXX, who described it as "a track that features classic rock melodies akin to, say, Thin Lizzy, alongside fuzz overdrive that could be an early Cloud Nothings track". The Norwegian band have made international waves with their energetic rock/power pop in their short history, receiving praise from the likes of NPR Music for their “uncomplicated and infectious,” sound. Stream 'Into The Night' via UPROXX or Soundcloud.

In the band's own words, "We’ve been on a life-long quest to show people how NOT to suck, so listen up kids; you might just learn something. After extensive studying of the rock’n’roll cookbook, we found that guitar solos are still really, really cool. We did not hold back on this one."

They are also about to set off on US tour dates supporting the legendary Stiff Little Fingers.

Press reaction to date

"Death By Unga Bunga either make garage-rock with the melodic precision of power-pop or power-pop with the scrappy energy of garage-rock." - Stereogum

"...an infectious racket that recalls late ’60s Britpop and mid-’00s garage" - Brooklyn Vegan

"...tight slick powerpop/pop-punk" - Record Collector

"...like a time capsule to pure 1960s Britpop. Their sound is uncomplicated and infectious" - NPR Music

"...highly energetic, rough and rowdy rock ‘n’ roll." - Pop Matters
