Swedish indie rockers I Used To Be A Sparrow brought their music around the world with their debut album, Luke. One year later they are ready to pick up from where they left off with their sophomore You Are An Empty Artist.

The duo of Dick Pettersson and Andrea Caccese created an act that embodies a compromise between the urgency of a garage band and the impact of epic indie rock slicing in, electronica and pop wherever they can.

With a straight-forward and heartfelt approach the Västerås pair are all about taking chances and following instinct when it comes to their music. Swapping stories, songs and favourite records quickly led to an effortless song-writing partnership.

Blending influences as diverse as pop, alternative rock and electro-folk while maintaining a common watermark is a theme that has continued since their debut, however “You Are An Empty Artist” reinforces their genre-defying approach, bringing their music to a more personal and kaleidoscopic dimension than ever before.
