Miniature Dinosaurs - 'Alligator' single release
Single release: Alligator by Miniature Dinosaurs
Label: Saraseto Records
Release date: October 31
Scottish pop-rockers Miniature Dinosaurs are proud to announce the release of their brand new single, Alligator through Saraseto Records on October 31 2011.
Having generated a swell of hype for themselves in their home territory, galvanized by support slots with artists such as Fenech Soler, Twin Atlantic and Johnny Foreigner, Miniature Dinosaurs have built a steady following thanks to additional support from blogs and extensive radio play. Ally McCrae at BBC Radio 1 Scotland even noted that the band harp "back to older Scottish bands, the likes of Orange Juice and Fire Engines, mixed with some straight up pop…".
Alligator, the band’s latest offering, is the follow up to a 7” single released earlier in 2011 that came out via Electric Honey, the label that kick started the careers of other great Scottish bands like Belle & Sebastian, Snow Patrol and Biffy Clyro.
